This spring, we were honored to welcome the BIG XII Golf Championship to Prairie Dunes. Hosting an event of this caliber was a tremendous opportunity to showcase not only our renowned golf course, but also the dedication and professionalism of our staff and membership. From course conditions to hospitality, it was a proud moment for our club and our community. Equally important are the experiences happening every day throughout the Club. Our Food & Beverage team continues to elevate both member- and Club-hosted events with creativity, attention to detail, and outstanding service. Whether it’s a casual evening with friends, holiday celebration, or a signature tournament event, their commitment to excellence helps create the memorable experiences that define club life at PDCC. In this issue, we are also proud to highlight one of the most recognizable symbols of Prairie Dunes: the yucca. More than just a logo, the yucca represents the identity and history of our club. Designed in the early 1950s by noted Hutchinson architect Dale Dronberger, the emblem has become an enduring part of Prairie Dunes’ legacy. Dronberger’s influence can still be seen throughout Hutchinson, and we are proud that his work remains woven into the fabric of our club today. As always, thank you to our members, staff, and families who continue to make Prairie Dunes such a special place. We hope you enjoy this edition of The Yucca Times and all that the season ahead will uniquely offer. Warm regards, Carissa Jackson Director of Membership & Communication 4
